First shown at the 2014 Melbourne Festival in the stunning Norman parish church of St Michael with St Mary, Thank You for the Rain is based on The Canticle of the Sun by St Francis of Assisi, the paintings depicting figures which embody or reflect on the various aspects of nature celebrated in Francis’ song.  A booklet of images and poetic reflections by Rosalind O’Melia is available to buy from the shop.
